After a few years of experience in the graphic design industry, I decided to work freelance. I have been able to balance this with my jewelry and accessory business for over ten years.

Jewelry & Accessory Designer and Graphic Designer 

With Junque In thy Trunk I am able to use both my design degree as well as my 3D art degree. Creating my own design year round then selling my goods at events through the spring, summer and fall. 

Steampunk Minnesota - MN; October 2013 - 2019

Graphic Designer and Event Coordinator

With Steampunk MN I put on an uniquely steampunk event called 13 GEARS in NE Minneapolis each year. The event is currently held in February annually. For this event I design all collateral materials to advertise the event as well as all display and preporation on the day of the event.  

Hello Design - Ramsey, MN; February 2008 - 2013

Artist and Graphic Designer 

Hello Design is a company I started that uses my BFA in 3D Arts as well as my graphic skills on the computer. Through Hello Design I have created a line of graphic art decor using my skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. As well as creating a line of fused glass jewelry, fused glass decor and recycled glass decor. 

MC2 Design Group - Chico, CA; July 2006 - November 2007

Graphic Designer

While working at MC2 Design Group I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with a plethora of clients. Projects ranged from logos with a business system to trade show banners and community newsletters to bus signs as well as t-shirt designs to restaurant menus. I also had the opportunity to design and work with their web programers on several web sites designs. 

Speedy Print - Marshfield, WI; June 2004 - June 2006

Graphic Designer

At Speedy Print I designed promotional and informational brochures, billboards, fliers, and postcards to promote the business. In addition, I designed a customer use web site for Speedy Print. I primarily worked on four color process and spot color projects with their in-house printer for clients as well as their promotional materials. 

Quik Photo - Marshfield, WI; June 2004 - June 2006

Graphic Designer (Internship)

As a designer at Quik Photo I designed holiday and occasional photo cards and promotional materials for Quik Photo, including an informational web site for Quik Photo, along with flyers, brochures, business cards, and handouts. I also worked on some photo restoration projects and custom phot driven graphics for clients.
